The Neo is Hario’s first real redesign of the V60 shape in years, swapping the classic spiral ridges for 72 ultra-fine ribs that converge to just 9 at the base.
This change pulls the paper filter into closer contact with the wall of the dripper. Water flows down the entire side, not just through the middle, which means faster, more even extraction, less bitterness, and a cup with a better balance of acidity, sweetness and body. Great for showing off delicate, lighter roasts.
