Brazil’s second largest coffee producing region

Altitude: 700–1300 m above sea level

Varietals: Mundo Novo, Catuaì


Although most of the coffee produced here is the commodity grade Robusta varietal, there is still a great range of high quality coffee that comes out of this region. Montanhas do Espírito Santo is one area within this region with conditions perfectly suited to producing high quality coffee, good average temperatures, rainfall and soil quality allow for coffees that are sweet, rich, and with a good level of acidity
