Wrapping up our 2023 subscriber survey

In July we ran our first full survey to ask our subscribers how they’re finding our coffee subscriptions, and what more we can do help them make great coffee at home (or at work, or wherever they are).

We worked with an independent researcher to run the survey and follow-up interviews, and while we’re still waiting for their full (anonymised) report, we wanted to say a huge thank-you to everyone who took the time out to share their thoughts and ideas.

If you chose to receive a free brew bag after completing the survey, keep an eye out in your next delivery after August 9th. (If you don’t receive one, check in with us – we’ve matched up emails to subscriptions as best we can, but may have missed you).

Congratulations also to Andrew in Earlwood, Sydney who won the prize draw – and who has chosen to receive a Breville Precision Brewer as their prize. Enjoy!

It’s been almost eight years that we’ve been sending coffee out as a subscription, and in that time we’ve grown from only one single origin to five different coffee options, more flexibility on how often, the option to pre-grind, and to bundle gear or extra coffee with your delivery.

All those ideas came from talking to subscribers – so we’re really excited to receive our researcher’s report to help us keep improving and better help you make great coffee wherever you are!

One thing we heard from a few of you: more sustainable packaging. We couldn’t agree more. The good news is we’ve just started rolling out new home-compostable packaging for 1kg bags, and coming soon for smaller bags as soon as we finish our stock of the soft plastic bags (in the next few weeks).
